Six areas, real arrival times
These are door-to-door times from our base in Epsom under normal traffic. A blocked A24 or heavy snow will stretch them, and we'll say so on the call rather than after you've waited.
Each area has its own quirks — village parking, long private driveways, exposed roads that ice first. Here's what we run into where.
Our base. Town centre, the Ashley Centre car parks, the station and every residential road off the High Street.
Ewell Village and West Ewell, either side of the A24. Tight village parking is not a problem — we work at the kerb.
The Downs, the racecourse approach roads and the lanes towards Tattenham Corner, where a garage run is a genuine detour.
Stamford Green, Christ Church Road and the roads bordering the Common, including the potholes that come with them.
Stoneleigh Broadway, the station and the commuter streets around it. Popular for before-work and after-work slots.
Ashtead village, the Common and the surrounding lanes. Further out, so we quote 30 minutes rather than promise 20.
The process is the same on a driveway in Stoneleigh or the hard shoulder of the A24.
A postcode is enough, or a landmark if you're on a road without one. We'll give you an arrival window on that call.
Right tyre already on board, plus jack, balancer and torque wrench. You don't move the car and you don't wait for a second visit.
Fitted and balanced on site, nuts torqued to spec, pressures set, old tyre taken away.
